Faith In Action Ministry at Holy Cross provides outreach opportunities in which to serve the local community. Each month a “Parish Day of Service” is planned. These activities provide an opportunity for parishioners to pray for, and to serve with, a parish group in a particular outreach ministry. Ideally, a different group of interested participants will grow out of each initial focus activity. Outreach groups developed at Holy Cross will provide ongoing support for their chosen ministry.
Partnership with Emmaus Ministry at St. James:
Saint James Emmaus Ministry is a dynamic ministry that brings the presence of the Catholic Church to the poor, hungry, isolated, and homeless of the south side and the city of Syracuse, New York. We at Holy Cross embrace the mission of Emaus Ministry and in an effort to support them, offer opportunities to be involved in their outreach ministry. To learn more about Emmaus Ministry visit their website here or join our activities here at Holy Cross.
