Your Holy Cross Guide

Join us for Mass

We celebrate Mass every day at Holy Cross. Monday through Friday join us at 7:45am in the chapel (Chapel entrance is closest to East Genesee Street). On Saturdays, join us for our 4:00 pm vigil Mass. Come experience reconciliation, beginning at 3:15pm on Saturdays. On Sundays, we offer three Masses: an early 7:30am option, a family-friendly, 9:00am option, and a worship-filled, 11:30am option. On the first weekend of each month, our 9:00 am Mass is a Family Mass geared for families and younger children, usually followed by a fun event downstairs in Yeazel Hall. If it’s not Family Mass Sunday, children are invited to Children’s Liturgy of the Word to experience the Gospel in a more child friendly manner in the Children’s Chapel. Children are dismissed to the Children’s Chapel before the Gospel reading and return to their families for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. During the 11:30 am Mass, our incredibly talented choir sings. While there is no formal dress code, many parishioners choose to wear clothing that is business casual or casual dressy to prepare themselves for the sacred liturgy in which they participate.

Location & Maps

Our church building is located at 4112 East Genesee Street in DeWitt, NY. You will find us located between Paddock Drive and St. Mary’s Cemetery. If you enter through the main or side entrances, the sanctuary is located directly in front of you. If you enter through the entrance closest to East Genesee Street, the chapel, where daily Mass is held, is directly to your right. The parish offices are located at the far entrance from East Genesee. Look for the signs for “Office.” Parish Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00pm.

Join a worship ministry

Do you love to sing or play music? We’d love to have you involved in our incredibly gifted music ministry! Check out our music ministry page to learn about the variety of opportunities we have for all types of musicians. But hey maybe, you’re not a singer. We understand, but consider if God is calling you to serve during the liturgy in another way. We are always looking for Altar Servers, Lectors, and Eucharist Ministers. Learn more here.
