Dawn D. Middleton, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Crouse Hospital.
Born July 3, 1947 in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Leona Ford Haynes. For many years, Dawn was a ward clerk at Upstate University Medical Center. She was also a foster mother for over 10 years. Dawn was a woman of great faith.
She is survived by a sister, Johnna-Mary Zobro of Bridgeport; two brothers, Joseph Zobro of NC and Jamieson Zobro of Liverpool; two sisters-in-law, Carol Neal and Julie Bigness; a brother-in-law, David Middleton, all of FL; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Arthur J. Middleton on January 29, 2024; a sister; and three brothers.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 28 at 10 am at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Private interment will be in Jamesville-Walnut Grove Cemetery.
