Obituary

Theresa M. DelGuidice, 94, of E. Syracuse, passed away on Friday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Syracuse when she married her husband, John. Theresa worked as a foreman at General Electric for 25 years. She then went on to work for UPS and CJ’s fish store for many, many years. She was a devoted Catholic. Theresa enjoyed playing cards and loved to cook for her family. She was known for her sauce and meatballs and always had some ready to go in the freezer. Theresa’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and family.

She was predeceased by her husband, John DelGuidice.

Survivors include her children, John (Crystal) DelGuidice of Florida and Melanie (Rich) Elbers of Dewitt; grandchildren, Robert (Ashley) Elbers, Emily Elbers, and Luke DelGuidice, and her grand-dog, Rocky; sisters-in-law, Ida and Jenny DelGuidice; her extended families, the Eberhardt family and the Myers family; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E Genesee St, Dewitt.
