The 39th Annual

Giving Tree at Holy Cross

Thank you to everyone for your kindness and generosity in making this year's Giving Tree such a huge success! Over 400 gifts were donated by our parish and school community to brighten the lives of so many during the Christmas season. Holy Cross partnered with local organizations including, Dr. Weeks Elementary, Jamesville Elementary, J-D Middle School, Moses Dewitt Elementary, Jamesville Food Pantry, Women and Children in Crisis, Jail Ministry, and within our Holy Cross community to solicit requests of gifts for individuals and families in need of Christmas cheer this year. Visitors to the church and school were able to take a tag home starting in mid-November and return the requested gift by the first week of December. Gifts were then stored and sorted by our amazing volunteers to be delivered to the requesting agency. Thank you so much for supporting this annual effort and making a difference in the lives of so many this holiday! God bless!

Details

Christmas will be here before you know it! We're prepping for our 39th annual Giving Tree. Once again this year, we will be providing gifts to 7 agencies that work with those in need especially children and families in our community. Many of the requests this year are for gift cards as the agencies have found the families enjoy being able to choose their own gifts. Tags will be available on trees in the Gathering Area beginning the weekend of November 19-20. Grab a tag purchase the appropriate gift request, then please plan to return your unwrapped gift/gift card with tag attached no later than Sunday, December 4 at 11:00 AM. Thank you!

Gifts may be returned during weekend Masses or brought to the parish office during the week. If you are returning gift cards, please deposit them in the collection box in the Gathering Area. Thank you for helping families in need during the Christmas Season!
