The Early Church
In this lesson, we continue to discuss the spread of Christianity after Jesus rises from the dead. We saw that Jesus creates and comissioned his Church to go “to the ends of the Earth” and we see the Apostles fulfill this request, venturing to cities that are familiar to us from the Bible, like Corinth, Ephesus, & Rome. The Apostles will establish churches in these cities and then move on to continue to spread Jesus’ message. They continue to communicate and encourage one another with letters, and some of these letters are inspired and become the last of the New Testament books, like “Paul’s letter to the Corinthians,” “Pauls letter to the Ephesians,” and “Paul’s letter to the Romans”.
